The History of Lake Park Pub

The first of many reincarnations of Lake Park Pub burnt to the ground in a fiery blaze. Following the blaze, it was rebuilt only to be torn down when Highway 10/114 was built. "Named for the lake (Winnebago) and the park - a wayside for travelers behind the building, ... it was always a tavern and a store." (excerpt taken from an article in the Post-Crescent, sometime after 1958)

The building was relocated years later and new owners took over. The building was tore down and rebuilt in October of 2001 by its current owners.
